First and foremost you should know that I’m not a culinary expert…I’m not a chef…and, I wouldn’t even consider myself a cook. I’m a mom with a full time job and hungry kids who really, really hates cooking but really, really thinks that nutrition is important.
After a health scare a few years ago, I realized that food can either heal you or kill you. The problem was that even as a nurse practitioner I knew very little about nutrition and how to fix my diet. Hours of research, documentaries, lectures and conferences lead me to a whole-food, plant-based diet with the main focus of clean eating.
I am by no means an expert but rather in a constant learning mode. A plant-based diet may no be for everyone but I do believe that clean eating is vital to our health. To follow along on this journey please subscribe to
